"I didn't do any research beforehand and just blindly booked the Mutianyu Great Wall + Temple of Heaven tour, and the result was a wonderful surprise! The tour guide was a native Beijinger who could talk about history and culture effortlessly. He explained the defensive system of the Great Wall and the etiquette and rules of the Temple of Heaven in a captivating way. Tickets, transportation, and the route were all included. No queuing, no need to check maps, just pure sightseeing with no hidden agendas. The day was both relaxing and rewarding. I highly recommend it when visiting Beijing!"
