Hello, I really enjoyed the trip. The sights were beautiful. The guides bought all the tickets, took us to the right place, and explained where to go. 👍

The impressions were excellent, the views were superb! A must-see. My recommendation would probably be to choose one route, either the western or eastern. If you're not fit, you'll lack the energy and likely won't have time for the other route after the western route. Another unpleasant surprise is the 140 yuan cable car ticket; walking to the wall will be difficult. The lunch buffet left me with mixed feelings, as only tea is free; everything else costs extra. You can also grab a bite at cafes and restaurants, and there's also a Burger King.

The tour was great. Provided a great deal of knowledge about the palace ,it's grounds, and the surrounds. It was good to have some context and knowledge about some things, that I would certainly have missed or not known just exploring on my own. Our tour guide was great, she was friendly and easy to understand.

It was my first day in Beijing and I needed a simple tour, so I chose Nanluogu Xiang. It was a unique tour that immersed us in the rhythm of old China. Numerous cafes, winding streets, lots of people, and beautiful weather. One of the keys to the tour's success was our guide, Sarah. She was energetic, setting the tone, and made the tour very informative. I learned about the great artist Qi Baishi, saw the Drama Academy, marveled at the intersection of Chinese and Mongolian cultures, and learned about the unique features of various buildings and courtyards. I also learned how to distinguish courtyards by their stones. At the end of the evening, we enjoyed a magnificent rooftop dinner with another magnificent view, and Sarah introduced us to the traditions of Mongolian dining.

We contacted the tour guide a day in advance, and he suggested we leave early. We agreed to depart at 7:00 AM, and he was waiting at the hotel around 6:00 AM. Along the way, he chatted about the attractions, snacks, and surrounding environment, and proactively reminded us of the cable car location. Luckily, we left early, and there weren't many people on the Great Wall. However, the crowds were enormous on the way down, and we perfectly avoided both peak times. We took the western route and climbed to Tower 21, but didn't go any further because it was too sunny. The three of us brought four bottles of water up. On the Great Wall, a regular bottle of mineral water costs 15 yuan, a drink costs 25 yuan, and an ice pop costs 10 yuan for one and 15 yuan for two.
