Reviews: Tokyo: Hakone· Atami Fireworks Festival Tour·Hakone Shrine ·Free Lake Ashi Cruise

The tour itself was very organised. There were 19 of us in total. Tourguide will send message 1 day prior regarding & reconfirming meet up location. Meet up location seems clear but I find lots of tours meet up location is slightly confusing especially in Tokyo with many exits.. but Mickey the tourguide was kind and very attentive and patient with everyone of us. She spoke in mandarin and cantonese and also able to communicate in English when required. We went to all the spots as mentioned on itinerary. One couple didn’t return on time which result in the group sitting on van waited for them to return for more than 20 minutes which delayed our departure time from Hakone. Fireworks were so beautiful which was the last stop of the day. By time we got back to Tokyo was very late.. around 10:30pm. Overall, tourguide Mickey did an amazing job!!

Reviews: 1-day tour to Izu from Tokyo for 9 people with hotel transfers: Atami fireworks + Jogasaki Coast
Guest User2026-08-30
The most surprising part of the trip was the Kinosaki coastline – it was absolutely stunning. This Izu trip was full of unexpected surprises. The grandeur of the Kinosaki coastline far exceeded my expectations – the dark brown volcanic rocks, sculpted by the waves, had sharp, jagged edges. Standing on the cliff edge, watching the deep blue Pacific Ocean crumble into white spray below, the raw vitality was breathtaking. Walking along the trail to the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, the bridge swayed gently in the sea breeze, each step offering a different perspective of the sea, and my heart felt open and expansive. The grasslands of the Izu Kogen were the gentlest reflection of the trip. On the rolling slopes, the grass rippled like waves in the sea breeze, with the Izu Islands faintly visible in the distance. Lying on the grass, with clouds drifting overhead and only the sound of the wind and the distant rumble of trains in my ears, time seemed to slow down. The luckiest moment was catching the fireworks festival. Compared to the throngs of people in big cities, it was surprisingly relaxed and peaceful here. Sitting on the seawall, watching the fireworks burst and fall in the night sky, their reflections shimmering on the sea like scattered gold. There was no pushing or shoving, only the soft gasps of locals and the laughter of children. This undisturbed beauty made the entire fireworks display exceptionally private and precious. Izu, I'll be back.
