Looking for a unique, relaxing cultural experience? Join our 3-hour Tezhip ( Ottoman illumination ) workshop in Istanbul. You don't need any art background, just come ready to create!

Led by a master artisan, you'll learn the history behind this classic art form, which was once used to decorate royal decrees and historical manuscripts. You will practice traditional brushwork and use rich natural pigments alongside metallic gold detailing to embellish a beautiful, pre-drawn geometric or floral design on specially prepared paper.

While your artwork dries, take a break with unlimited Turkish tea, coffee, and handmade cookies. It's a perfect time to chat with locals, learn more about Istanbul's rich history, and escape the busy city streets.

At the end of the class, you will take home your stunning, hand-painted artwork, a deeply personal souvenir of your time in Turkey. We provide safe protective packaging so it travels safely in your suitcase!
