Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

I had the best day with Guide Seo Geum-bong! It was my first time in Japan and I didn't know much, but you explained everything thoroughly and took such good care of me. Thank you. I can't post a photo because my face is in it, but you took pictures for us, recommended food, and even though it was hectic leading a large group, you looked after us with such attention to detail. I hope to see you again!!

Reviews: A day trip to Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan.

I visited Osaka last year and had such a great time that I decided to return this time. Although I had to schedule the tour at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances right before departure, I was deeply touched by the kindness of the vehicle and the guide (Mr. Sai). He accompanied us to the entrance whenever we were dropped off at tourist sites and even took photos for us at the best spots, for which I am truly grateful. Even after the tour ended, he sent me messages recommending great restaurants and providing various other tips; I felt incredibly treated and had a wonderful trip while away from home. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.

Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Kyoto Fushimi Inari Taisha + Arashiyama + Kinkaku-ji + Nara Park 1-day Tour
Guest User2026-10-04
Excellent deal for one full day tour covered Nara and Kyoto. Tour guide 美奈子 speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She was detailed to explain all attractions we are going to visit, and gave us tips for what to see and what to do. She walked with us to make sure we didn't miss popular spots. I would like to recommend 美奈子 to everyone. The tour bus is a little bit tight between seats unlike other tour buses have well spaced leg room.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three scenic views & Ine no Funaya in the sea of Kyoto
Guest User2026-10-20
This was my first time participating in a one-day tour, and the experience was fantastic! Thank you to our guide, "Huahua," who was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. His explanations of the sights were very engaging. Knowing I was traveling alone, he even offered to record me feeding the seagulls on the boat. He also incorporated several singing performances on the bus and was always smiling. It was truly a wonderful travel experience!

Reviews: Kyoto Day Tour: Arashiyama + Sanzen-in + Kifune Shrine (Departure from Osaka or Kyoto | Optional Hotel Pickup / Small Group with Sagano Romantic Train)
Guest User2026-09-07
Having visited Kyoto several times, I finally realized I should explore more attractions instead of just stopping at Hanamikoji, Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi, Inari, and Nishiki Market. So, I joined a small day tour to see three places I'd never been before. Since many Kyoto attractions are scattered, it's really inconvenient to visit several places in one day without a car. Sanzen-in Temple, Kifune Shrine, and Arashiyama—if I had to choose, I'd visit Sanzen-in Temple multiple times; it's so beautiful! Of course, early September isn't peak autumn foliage season, so Arashiyama wasn't at its most beautiful. Personally, I felt that without the autumn leaves, the place resembled Anji or Tonglu in Zhejiang—green mountains, clear water, and bamboo forests, nothing particularly special. The small tour departed from Osaka, which was especially convenient for us living in Kyoto, as we could sleep in a little longer, have breakfast, and wait for the tour bus to pick us up. The driver even arranged for me to be a tour guide on the spot, giving me tickets for the Sagano Scenic Railway and letting me lead nine people on a round-trip train journey and arrange seating. It was quite fun.
