I was looking for a ferry to the Gili Islands, and there were so many options that I did a lot of research and thought hard before booking. I chose Wahana Ferry because it was known to be reliable, well-maintained, and had good reviews. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the seats were comfortable and spacious, making it a smooth trip from Bali to the Gili Islands with my children. And the round-trip from Gili to Bali was a smooth one. It was a very satisfying trip.★

The trip was very comfortable. There was air conditioning, comfortable seats with plenty of legroom, and no smell of gasoline in the cabin. If we were feeling a little cold from the air conditioning, we went out onto the roof to warm up in the sun (so be sure to bring a jacket and a cape). Water was provided. The boat is large, so the waves aren't as noticeable as on a smaller Lada. The website says departure at 9:00 AM, but in reality, you need to arrive at the company office by 8:00 AM, which is near the port, to pick up your tickets. It's best to wait in a cafe near the office until 9:00 AM until check-in closes. We all go to the port together, check in our luggage, and sit wherever we want. We set sail at around 9:40 AM. We arrived in Gili Trawangan by 11:30 AM. Overall, I recommend it.★

D'Camel. New, excellent, large boat. The crew is friendly. The air conditioning works, and there's an open deck. Everything was on schedule for us. The main drawback is that you have to book a day in advance. We missed it once, so we had to buy on the official website. Another drawback is that they don't offer children's tickets (they do on the official website), but it's still cheaper through a trip. And be sure to check the boat route carefully: on the way from Gili Trawangan, the boat calls at Meno/Air and Lombok, which adds 45 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend it.
