The wait time was about half that of regular customers. The portions are certainly large, but you can have any leftovers packed up to take home. We ate the xiao long bao on the spot, and had most of the cold dishes and fried rice packed up. If you consider it as two meals—lunch at the restaurant and takeout to the hotel for dinner—the price per person might not be that expensive. The truffle xiao long bao was incredibly delicious, but personally, the sauce for the spicy boiled wontons (vegetables) was the best.

There's a scheduled shuttle service. The hot spring environment was better than I expected—clean and quiet. There weren't many pools, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded. The changing rooms and shower facilities were very clean. I'd go again. As for the food, it was delicious. It was Japanese style, with sashimi, salad, pork hot pot—everything was very tasty.

The round-trip card from Taoyuan International Airport to downtown Taipei and the card for unlimited use of the city's subway are separate. It's a great deal. I lost my city subway card on the way there, but the card for the return trip to the airport was separate, which was very helpful. The pick-up point at the airport is near the subway ticket gate on the B2 floor. I searched for it quite a while, thinking it must be somewhere inside the airport.

Our tour guide was Gabe Liu, and I can only say he was the most approachable tour guide I've ever met, with an exceptional understanding of Taiwanese history and culture. He was able to answer all our questions. His English was also excellent, which helped us better understand his story. Anyone who joins his tour group is truly lucky!
