Reviews: Otago Peninsula Scenery & Little Blue Penguin tour

What an awesome tour this was!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our guide was super knowledgeable and kind. She went above and beyond her duty by explaining all the details to view the penguins in the best possible ways. She even had extra jackets for us! She stopped few times for us to see many different kinds of birds and stunning views. Thanks to her for all that she did to make this one of the memorable experiences in this beautiful country.

The route was well planned, with interesting stops. The only thing I didn't like was that the guide and driver were the same person. At times, it was difficult for him to both drive and tell the story, even though he tried. The bus was large, but we managed to see everything, but we didn't get much information.

Chris our Guide was fabulous, stopped at molars statues, Allans beach where there was heaps of male and female seals. Stopped at Dunedin railway station, Otago Uni, Dunedin Botanical gardens, Baldwin St, then drove to Point Chalmers to drop off passengers for cruise ship. Next drove back to Dunedin past Forsyth barr Stadium, and finally arriving back where the tour stated the Octagon.

Our driver/tour guide, Jeff, was excellent. He packed so much into the tour taking us to the prettiest parts of a very pretty city in Dunedin. Jeff explained the history of the various places we visited from the dormant whale trading through the Edinburgh like university and the glorious historic train station culminating with ninety minutes at the castle. The bus was perfect for our tour size, Jeff's banter and dry Kiwi humour along with both his deep knowledge and pride in the area made this a great event for us. You cover a lot in Dunedin in the time available and Jeff ensures you are back at the port well before departure.
Reviews: From Dunedin: City, Otago Peninsula & Albatross Guided Tour

This was an awesome tour. Teresa was so knowledgeable and pleasant. She shared so many antidotes and tidbits all along the way. She had treats for us and provided adequate stops. The scenery was fantastic and she knew just where to go to show us different aspects of the city and Ortego Peninsula. The Albatross Center was fantastic. Some people went to go look at penguins and others chose to relax. It was so cool to learn about the albatross and to see them up close. We have traveled quite a bit and this tour was one of the best ones we’ve been on!

Theresa did an excellent job throughout the whole tour with an excellent narrative about the sites throughout the Otago Peninsula as well as sites around Dunedin.
