Reviews: All-Inclusive! Tulum Ruins, Tequila Tasting + Swim in 3 Cenotes in Small Group!
Guest User2024-09-21
This was one of the most unforgettable experiences. I booked this because I wanted to learn more about the history of Tulum and about the Mayans. Our guide Daniel and our tour guide for the Ruins were so knowledgeable and were able to share so many stories/ facts with us. Going through the caves was the highlight of the day- I was a little nervous and scared at first but Daniel was very experienced in the caves which made us all feel more comfortable and safe swimming through them.
Reviews: Riviera Maya: Tulum Ruins and 2 Cenotes Half-Day Tour

A very nice tour with guide Jesús. Entertaining and superbly organized. A little more time to explore the Tulum site would have been nice. Almost half an hour passes from the parking lot to the start of the tour, which is then missing at the end. The return walk to the meeting point also takes another 20 minutes or so, so that out of a two-hour stay, only a little over an hour remains for exploring the extensive site. The site itself is fascinating and an absolute must-see on the Riviera Maya. The swimming stop at the two cenotes was also great and planned with plenty of time. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a beach bag, even though I paid the Tulum tax in advance. Not a big deal, but it was promised. Overall, a clear recommendation with minor reservations, based on my experience.

We had a great time trying different vegan food in downtown Tulum. Armando was an awesome guide. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area. Thank you Armando!
Reviews: Private Ek Balam, Cenote & Valladolid tour

We are a family of four (all adults) that booked the Ek-Balam tour.  Definitely a must do experience - fewer crowds than Chichen Itza and more interactive (can climb the structures and walk into rooms).  The cenote was beautiful and the lunch at the Mayan village was delicious. Some unique experiences included sampling traditional chocolate and seeing the stingless bees. A great experience made even better by our tour guide Josh. He was so genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor.  We have traveled to Mexico a few times and used different companies (and they were all nice) but Boutique Tours Mexico was by far the best.  Because it is private, you don't feel rushed like you might on a group tour and they will adjust the excursion to your wants.  Plus Josh is our favorite tour guide ever!

It was all very organized and well planned out. However I would’ve liked to spend more time in the first cenote to explore. Some of the trees were a little concerning and should be cut back that were too close to the zip line. They also take a bunch of pictures and videos of you during the excursion but want you to pay a lot of money to get them. The experience is already expensive once you throw in the ATVs so that was a no for us. But the staff was amazing, and it was really fun. The pork tacos were also bomb.
