Reviews: Son Tra Peninsula, Marble Mountain and Hoi An Ancient Town Group tour: Depart from Da Nang
Guest User2026-02-07
This half-day tour was booked on short notice; I booked it as soon as I landed in Da Nang that morning, and we departed promptly at 1:30 PM. Although it was only half a day, we visited quite a few places. First, we went to Son Tra Peninsula, where the sea view from the mountain was quite nice; taking a taxi would have cost a lot. Then we went to Marble Mountains, which are mainly caves and not very high. The English-speaking guide had a heavy Southeast Asian accent, but it was still understandable, and he was very enthusiastic, leading us through the entire tour. Next, we went to Hoi An. It felt quite late when we arrived, so after dinner, we only had a little over an hour left to explore, just enough for taking photos. However, the fellow travelers we met along the way were all very interesting; we helped each other, chatted, and took photos, making it a fun and memorable trip.

I was very worried every time we moved around because of the elderly person, but thanks to your help, the guide made things much easier. You also explained things well with your extensive knowledge... Most importantly, I was relieved that my mother, who traveled with me, took such a liking to you, treating you like her own child. I was also truly grateful that you looked after my mother even more attentively than I did. If I plan another trip to Vietnam, you are a guide I definitely want to meet again. Please stay healthy... I really hope to see you again...

Reviews: Hue city Full-Day Group Tour from Da Nang or Hoi An | Hue Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb
Guest User2026-03-12
The Hue day trip is conveniently located with a tight schedule of attractions. It includes three sites, a delicious lunch, a guide, and round-trip minibus transportation, all at a reasonable price. Although the guide speaks English, understanding the general idea is fine. John is young and energetic and can speak some Chinese. I personally tested it; for tourists who only speak Japanese, a separate Japanese-speaking guide was provided on the bus. We'll stop at the lagoon for a while; the scenery is beautiful. Khai Dinh Tomb isn't large but worth seeing. The Hue Imperial City is vast; even seeing just the important palaces takes about two hours. Stay close to your guide; getting lost can be very troublesome. Lunch was delicious, authentic Vietnamese food.
