Reviews: From Merida: Chichen Itza Tour, Izamal, Cenote Ik Kil and Food

This would my second time visiting the amazing Chichen Itza. But only this time I had the wonderful opportunity for Denny to be my tour guide! He is very knowledgeable about Mayan Culture and is not hesitant to answer any questions you may have. From the moment getting in our bus transportation he made us feel comfortable and safe. He informed us with important information and guidelines before even starting our tour, which was a plus for me being a tourist in Mexico. The bus ride was comfortable and AC worked great! All three experiences were amazing and the food was delicious! If I ever go back I would have to request Denny, and obviously reserve with Colibrí Yucatán Tours!! I would give 10 stars if there was an option!! Thank you for a wonderful experience. 🙏
Reviews: Merida: Hacienda Sotuta de Peon w/ Cenote & Henequen Tour
Guest User2026-02-21
The tour was fantastic except for the rude people taking the tour😞 The people that spoke English would talk to eachother while the guide was speaking Spanish and those who spoke Spanish would converse while the guide spoke English. There was a couple with 2 very young children who were acting up and crying & the parents were constantly disciplining them. Missed a lot of what the guide was saying especially when we were in the buildings. The hacienda experience & learning about how the sisal is produced was so interesting. The truck ride to the cenote was quite the experience & the cenote was magical. Very well organized. The snacks & drinks were excellent🥰

Today we were in a very nice group visiting two markets in Merida and were able to try local drinks and various kinds of empanadas and tacos. Everything was very tasty and interesting.
Reviews: Santa Barbara: Guided Tour on electric bikes (private)

Mike was a super star. It was torrential rain and he still took us around, showing us the sights and best bits of Santa Barbara. He is a local so we got to see so much that no one else would know or notice! Including his family home! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend
Reviews: Santa Barbara: Chocolate Bar and Art Box Making Workshop
Guest User2025-12-29
We loved this activity. My teenage boys actually got into creating their boxes and we had a lovely afternoon making art. The chocolate was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend this for a fun family outing or a creative date idea. Took us about 2 hours to decorate our boxes and make our chocolate.
Reviews: Santa Barbara: Scenic Canyon Horseback Riding Tour
Guest User2025-12-31
I liked the view. The guide was rude and rather than helping a beginner on the horse had very rude comments. He made the experience very difficult to enjoy and it seems like he is miserable at doing his job. Comments like "You signed up for thism A six year old can ride the horse. " Asking if I had a husband or boyfriend to describe holding on the reins was inappropriate. I stated I was a beginner and the instructions were directed poorly for someone who is nervous about falling off the horse.
