The overall itinerary was well-planned, though lunch was a bit rushed! The tour members were all incredibly nice, punctual, and followed the rules, which greatly enhanced the trip! As the first day tour to the outskirts of Athens, it was definitely worthwhile; the natural scenery was very pleasant. I spent a very memorable time with my family. Note: This tour is extremely unfriendly to people with mobility issues; please do not book if any family members have mobility problems!★

This was one of two Ammon Express tours we joined, and they were both fantastic. The guide for both trips were very knowledgeable archaeologists, and the way Ammon does these is perfect: instead of leading you through the sites (and creating a nuisance for other visitors, like other tour groups), they give you all the information you need during the journey, and then they answer any questions afterward. This approach works so well and allows you to use your time on the parts that are most interesting to you--while also giving you the information and resources you need. We plan to do the rest of their tours next time we're in Athens!
Roi made Delphi so accessible, explaining both the mythology and the importance of Delphi to the development of civilization throughout its incredible history. She took the time with each member of our group to make sure our questions were answered and that we understood the significance of where we were. What an amazing experience!★

wonderful experience with Getaways Greece. Excellent communication between tour company, tour guide and ourselves. Debbie our tour guide and Patti, our museum guide were very knowledgeable, and articulate. Patti & Debbi were entertaining and funny with stories behind every exhibit. Our small group consisted of ten people, Debbi had a small quiz on the bus which was fun and made for a very entertaining trip from start to finish. Transportation was very comfortable and spacious. Every stop on the tour was worth it. Nafplio was especially breath taking. Overall, great tour, great price and great pace. highly recommend. (mother/daughter trip 10/8/2025).★

Absolutely Amazing Tour Experience in Athens! We had an incredible time on this tour! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Our guide Thanasis was extremely professional, helpful, attentive, and always willing to accommodate all our requests. We were truly impressed by the level of service – it exceeded our expectations. The driver Vangelis was also very kind and courteous, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We were having such a great time that we asked to extend the tour by an hour, and they did it with no problem at all. They took us to the best spots in Athens, with just the right mix of history, culture, and local charm. We ended our day at an amazing gelateria – the perfect way to wrap up a fantastic tour. Highly recommended! We would definitely book with them again :)
