He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. While traveling in Osaka with a friend, I planned a day trip to Kyoto and booked a tour for the first time! Our guide, Oh Seok-bong, was incredibly kind and provided detailed explanations and great tips on various experiences and sightseeing. Thanks to him, even though we visited several places in Kyoto in a short amount of time, I feel like we got to see the highlights without feeling like we missed anything. I'm so glad I signed up! Even though we only met for a day, he looked after us with great care. From local restaurants to fun stories, there wasn't a single dull moment, so I highly recommend booking this tour if you are visiting Kyoto for the first time!!! 🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!★
