I like that the schedule is flexible. I was able to get ready faster than expected on both the outbound and return trips, so I was able to move my reservation time up and use the service successfully. I used to hug my suitcase and take the Nankai Airport Line subway because I thought it was a waste of money, but since that costs around 10,000 won anyway—especially if you are traveling with children or elderly parents—it is much better to just pay a few thousand won more and take the Rapit.

I wish there was a 3-day pass! We used it for 4 people plus 1 person at once. It is a bit inconvenient that the person making the reservation has to scan the QR codes for everyone, but the recognition is fast, which is nice. It is a shame that you can only book for up to 4 people per reservation. If you have 5 people, you can open separate Chrome windows for the 4-person and 1-person tickets. Refresh the window with the 1-person ticket first, then go to the window with the 4-person ticket and refresh. After the 4 people enter, return to the window with the 1-person ticket and scan it to enter immediately without any delay.

I did this tour on a windy winter day in January. Nina was our guide and she was amazing, so personable, easy to talk to and funny! I definitely trusted her food selections and vendors at the market. She gave us insights in to history and culture of the market and the people of Osaka. We had delicious and unique foods! I would recommend you book this tour, hopefully with Nina.

Fumiko is terrific. Fed us till we were stuffed. Included a city tour. Even helped us get onto a train so we could get back to Kyoto without messing up. Speaks English beautifully. Fun, funny, a true delight.
