Our snowy trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall was absolutely magical. Seeing the Great Wall blanketed in white snow was a breathtaking wow moment—I completely fell in love.
The bus arrived on time, and our tour guide Amelia explained everything clearly on the way, which made us feel prepared and at ease. She also explained the different routes on the wall and gave us the option to choose, which we really appreciated.
The countryside buffet included with our ticket was delicious and comforting—something I would happily choose over Burger King or Subway. We also loved the optional Great Wall certificate as a meaningful keepsake. The cable car ride going up was a bit scary, but the ride down was smooth and enjoyable.
We’re very glad we chose Mutianyu over Badaling. There was a small misunderstanding about an earlier bus departure, but the lady organizer handled it kindly and professionally, personally apologizing and making sure everything went smoothly. The experience was surreal!★

My wife and I booked a tour to the Great Wall through a local agency, and it was truly exceptional. Everything was well-organized and punctual, making the day smooth and enjoyable. As Muslims, we appreciated the thoughtful lunch arrangement at a nearby village restaurant serving delicious halal food, free from pork or its by-products. The highlight of our experience was our guide, Alison. She was truly outstanding—graceful, respectful, and deeply knowledgeable. Her explanations were detailed yet engaging, with well-chosen topics that made history come alive. Alison added a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere to the tour and gave us a wonderful impression of the Chinese people—kind, welcoming, and eager to help. Her professionalism and warmth turned a great tour into an unforgettable one. My wife and I genuinely enjoyed every moment, and we hope to meet guides like Alison again on future visits to China.★

You have to go to the Great Wall once in your lifetime, but you don't need to go a second time. Although I climbed to the 20th, the whole journey was a long way off. There were especially many people going on Monday because many places in Beijing are closed on Mondays. I couldn't go there and could only go to the Great Wall. The schedule for going to the Great Wall cannot be based on the publicity. Generally, the tour guide will give you 5 hours to play by yourself and then return. Considering the traffic jam, I was worried that I would miss the plane. The tour guide Wang Hao also took this matter to heart and helped me find a way throughout the whole process so that I would not miss the plane and would not delay other people from seeing the scenery. He arranged for me to go back first with the bus. He was so worried.★
