Great Experience! Easily booked on trip.com, Communication was instant thru trip.com and WeChat. The driver contacted me the day before hand to organise pickup details and confirm itinerary, he also offered suggestions to avoid traffic, and busy areas. Car was well maintained and clean, we had a very comfortable ride (about 1.5hrs each way) when we arrived at the entry gates, he provided our QR tickets to enter. It opened at 8.30am(there was no queue. We spent about 4hrs inside, walking the Great Wall, it’s a really great spot, we didn’t see any other foreigners till leaving and the only other people was a tour of school children but we had been by ourselves on the Great Wall for at least 2hrs prior to that. We messaged via WeChat when we ere about 30mins walk from the exit, and he was waiting out front to collect us. Very Happy. Such a Beautiful area to explore!★

xingjian our tour guide was very nice and helpful. He waited early in the lobby, and gave us multiple options on where to go, letting us know the options in the car, and helped us to prebook the tickets in advance, saving time from queueing. xingjian also accompanied us all the way up until the greatwall, taking pictures of us; pointed the route that we can follow, and waited for us until we were done and ready to ascend down to the base. He then accompanied us ascending down and drove us back to hotel. It was a pleasant and comfortable trip! recommend to get this if you want no fuss, minimum overhead to visit greatwall.★

This is the only one lakeside great wall ( Unique!) ,Many attractions to do 1. Round trip Cruise ( include in package) about 5 min. 2. Magnetic cable car ( recommended if you won’t to go up stairs again) 3. Sightseeing train ( optional - only stream veiw) . More steep compare with Badaling but shorter distance ( at Badaling after cable car i walk down from port 8 to 1). Bus use Mubus , you can left luggage in Mubus ( same bus to and from Beijing). Guide- Cici is very good service and bilingual and give me some souvenirs-player card. You can have lunch in great wall but limit choice like instant noodle ,hamburger, pizza★
