This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.

I joined this tour when planning my first trip to Austria as a graduation trip. ✈️ It was safer than going to Hallstatt on my own, and most importantly, the tour guide and staff were very kind and helpful, so I felt at ease. We had about two hours of free time in Hallstatt, which was just the right length. In Salzburg, we had a brief guided tour for the first few minutes, followed by free time. Both guides explained things in relatively simple English, which even a Japanese person like me could understand. 🙌🏻 I joined with a friend this time, but if I have the chance to visit Austria again, I'd like to join with my partner or family!

It was delightful! The venue was perfect. The dinner was lovely, especially the Mozart dessert! Loved the concert as well. Well worth it!

Loved the historic location & the music. Easy access via the funicular. Took advantage of going to the fortress an hour before the show to walk around, enjoy the views and take photos. The show was incredible. The musicians are so talented and did Mozart and other composers justice.

The tour to Hallstatt was excellent. We were a group of four and Alenka was our tour guide. She explained the history behind the different locations on our way to Hallstatt and gave a lot of helpful tips. It was also nice to have the free time to explore the area on our own once we got to Hallstatt. Overall very satisfied and recommend this tour.


