Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing
Guest User2025-12-23
The people here were so kind and I had a very comfortable time getting ready and getting my hair done. The ladies here were so sweet and professional. I definitely recommend renting your kimonos here as they were beautiful and the hair styling was also so pretty. They also offer kimono insurance for around 500 yen or so, which I definitely recommend because going to temples in your kimono or indulging in some sweet treats; accidents happen, and it'll save you a big fee!

Each person has an assigned seat, and there are luggage racks near the boarding area. The seating experience is similar to first class on a high-speed train, as it's a 2+2 layout, making it quite spacious. Pay attention to the boarding time to avoid boarding the wrong train.

Bookings need to be made one day in advance, and a voucher will be sent the following day. You can easily reserve your seat online using the link on the voucher, and you have two opportunities to cancel or change your ticket. You can change your ticket as early as 5 minutes before departure time to avoid missing your train. Entering the station is as simple as scanning a QR code; there's absolutely no need to queue. Highly recommended! With Trip.com's exclusive discount, the price is even cheaper than buying tickets at the counter!
Reviews: [Official Ticket] Tokyo Subway Ticket 24/48/72 Hour Ticket (Tokyo Metro + Toei Subway)

The 72‑hour Tokyo Subway pass saved us time and money while exploring central Tokyo. It covers Tokyo Metro + Toei Subway lines and gave us unlimited rides for three full days, which made hopping between neighborhoods (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Asakusa) effortless. Activation is simple — the timer starts the first time you pass through a gate — so activate it when you begin a full day of sightseeing to get the most value. We paired the pass with a Suica card for JR lines and airport transfers, which worked well.
