We contacted the hotel in advance, and James arrived a little earlier than the appointed time and walked us to the bus. The bus was very comfortable, and the seats could almost recline. There were two short stops there and one back. We really enjoyed the paid boat ride, a mini-excursion, and then we went rafting. There were some collisions between kayaks and boats, but we had a bag and camera with us, so we decided not to risk it. The cave was great, and we climbed up to the island. There was plenty of food, and the extra charge for drinks wasn't that high.

The trip to Halong Bay was planned and purchased through trip.com. The entire excursion was, you could say, timed to the minute. Everything was smooth and organized, in a wonderful, comfortable bus for 20 people, with air conditioning and reclining seats. We were picked up from our hotel at the agreed-upon time. The journey to the bay takes three hours, including a planned stop and a visit to a silk souvenir shop. For the excursion, we chose a 5-star, three-story yacht, where we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet lunch. Additional drinks, beer, and coffee were available for cash. The bay itself and its islands offer stunning views. It's worth seeing 😍. Kayaking, boating, sailing through the grotto (an additional 50,000 each), and the caves were unforgettable. After visiting the islands, there was live music and tea on the yacht. Overall, everything was top-notch 👍👍👍. Special thanks to the tour organizers and our guide, Melody, who treated each tourist with great care. We highly recommend it. 👍👍👍

The booking and confirmation process was very smooth. You can choose your seat when booking, so it's reassuring to reserve the seat you want. I booked an upper seat as a daytime mode of transport, but as other reviewers have mentioned, it's very bumpy. If you get carsick, a lower seat is definitely better. Also, if you're using it for overnight travel to sleep, a lower seat is definitely the best choice.

I had a great experience with the G8 Sleeper Bus from Hanoi to Sa Pa. The bus was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described when I booked it. The reservation itself went smoothly. The shop is supposed to open at 9am, so I was there from 10 minutes before 9am until a little after. Not even the lights were on, which made me uneasy, so I walked to a different branch of the same chain, but that was also closed, so I moved to a different tourist spot. It would have been nice if there had been at least some people around, but I completely forgot about Hanoi time. I consulted with customer service and they changed my appointment from May 5th to 6th, which resolved the issue. Thank you. At that time, they asked me to submit a photo. It was the first time I realized that objective evidence is necessary. A photo of the shop with the time indicated showing that it was closed at that time, and ideally with a picture of myself in it as well, would be perfect. The massage itself was thorough and I was quite satisfied. Regarding the opening hours, it would be helpful if you could write something like "opens around 9am" so that people understand.
