The itinerary was very relaxing. The guide was engaging and welcoming and made it feel like a big family trip. Ha long bay was breathtaking and the overall experience was excellent. Went on the speedboat, the amazing cave. Also loved lunch. I would definitely book this again.★

I really enjoyed the tour and the guide. A wonderful 2-hour boat trip. Beautiful views! Better than Ha Long Bay. The boat was very comfortable. There are umbrellas for sun protection. The route included temples, islands, and caves. It was very picturesque. After a delicious lunch, we climbed the mountain. The views were also picturesque. Our guide, Tien, was excellent! The tour was well organized. The only problem was that the seats on the bus didn't work. They kept reclining on their own, so we spent the 2.5-hour ride each way lying down.★

The tour itself was truly lovely. Rachel, our guide, was cheerful and engaging, explaining the hat and incense-making process with genuine enthusiasm. As a solo traveler, I appreciated her kindness in helping me take photos. Mr. Viet, our driver, was also excellent—calm, safe, and reliable throughout.
That said, while you can choose your tour, you cannot choose your fellow travelers. One woman’s behavior made parts of the experience less enjoyable. She repeatedly cut the queue while I was clearly waiting, interrupted mid-photo, and even took my nón lá directly from my hands without asking—despite many being available. She later asked to use my phone, which I declined.
Small actions, but they reflected a lack of awareness and consideration. Combined with loud videos on the bus, it became quite disruptive.
Overall, I still enjoyed the experience—it was just slightly overshadowed by unfortunate company.★

Even though I don't understand English, I had a wonderful experience. The operator, Ruby, was very kind and helpful to me, a solo traveler! There were elderly people on the tour, but the other guide was also very attentive, and I think it's a tour that anyone can easily participate in, even though there's a lot of walking involved. I was glad to be able to experience Vietnamese cuisine at the lunch buffet. If you have any concerns about how to get to Ninh Binh, I recommend taking this tour! Thank you for a wonderful time. It was a very hot day, so you should bring a hat. Alternatively, it seemed like you could buy one there.
