The tour was great value, covering all the sights and with good time management. However, you need to be prepared with your food choices, as you might not be able to sit down and eat in a large group due to time constraints. I recommend bringing your own snacks to eat while walking or bringing your own. The guide, Karen Lu, was excellent and very attentive. She spoke English throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a one-day trip.★

I came from Hong Kong and traveled alone on a tour. I originally chose a Mandarin-speaking tour, but since it was mostly foreigners and Singaporeans, I joined an English-speaking tour. Our guide, Kate Chen, spoke excellent English, which I understood the entire time. She explained the sights very carefully and patiently, and there was ample time to visit each place. We had 50 minutes each at Shifen Waterfall and Shifen Old Street, and two and a half hours at Jiufen Old Street – plenty of time! In the evening, she even took us to Raohe Street Night Market. The only downside was that it rained intermittently throughout the day.★

Visiting so many attractions in one day was super rushed! The good thing is that the bus takes you to each attraction, making it perfect for solo travelers or groups of friends. It might be a bit rushed for families. Our guide, Libby, was amazing! She shared lots of tips and introduced the attractions, helping us learn more about Taiwan. If it rains, you might not be able to stop for photos at the Yin-Yang Sea. It rained all day when I went, so definitely bring a raincoat, or you'll have to buy one in Yehliu! I don't recommend buying an umbrella; Jiufen is super crowded, so it's best to travel light.

This tour was delayed by an hour and a half due to an accident on the day of the tour. The replacement driver was friendly and gave a pleasant explanation. I was worried about the rain, but the photos turned out even better, which was satisfying. I was also delighted that the lantern-flying scene at Shifen was so well captured. Jiufen was also even more charming and beautiful in the rain.★
