Ease of booking. Usually able to redeem an earlier ticket at the hsr station once we arrived there. I had reserve the latest ride online thinking I can easily change at the station which I was able to do easily in the past. However, this time it was a Sunday from Zuoying to Taipei. And the station was packed! The staff said I was unable to change my reservation because reserved seats are sold out. So I guess keep that in mind if the day is a weekend or holiday. You may have to reserve the exact time online. Also checkout Klook Buy 1 get 1 promo hsr trains.

Keep in mind that it will take more than 2 hours. Departed from Zuoying and got off at 恒春 bus station, it took little more than 2.5 hours even though it was not the last stop. There is USB socket in the bus that was a huge plus. No need to say but there’s no bathroom break on the way. So plan ahead haha

The Keisei Skyliner fares are approximately 30% higher than regular lines, but it offers high efficiency and a comfortable ride. The line provides direct access to the Ueno and Nippori areas, making it ideal for travelers staying in these regions. If your accommodation is not near Ueno or Nippori, you don't need to transfer on this line; you can directly use the subway. The trains are in excellent condition, and the service and environment are top-notch. All seats are reserved. Tickets purchased through Ctrip are instantly valid, and you can also buy them on-site, which is very convenient.

I recently went to Nagoya alone, and while I didn't really need this, it's cheaper than buying a regular ticket. Just scan the QR code on the app voucher and enter. It's super easy! I took the MuSky and reserved a separate seat for that train. (I made the reservation while waiting in line at immigration after getting off the plane.)
