Reviews/Trip Moments

Reviews: From Manchester: North Wales and Caernarfon Castle Day Trip
Guest User2026-03-15
A very nice trip. The bus: clean, comfortable. The itinerary: well planned, interesting. The guide: friendly, easy-going, organized. You can see the sea, the castles, old architecture, the mountains, numerous lovely spots and corners, try local food, buy souvenirs + nice local relaxing music in the bus. It was raining and the weather wasn't quite nice, but I enjoyed every minute, thank you

The villages were beautiful and the lakes breathtaking; the roads were like something out of a fairytale. I highly recommend it. The guide was very friendly and explained everything very well.

I loved all of it but for life and ambience probably Chester and it's cathedral. Darren was brilliant guide funny, lots if information. and made you feel so welcome from early morning to late evening Also lovely using Rabbies as small group much nicer than big buses.Would highly recommend this tour.

I bought a ticket, thinking I'd get an English-speaking guide. Guides are extra, and I couldn't find an audio guide, so I paid extra for each pavilion separately. But the park is magnificent: spring, cherry blossoms and magnolias in bloom, a lake with boats and ducks, the Long Corridor, pavilions and towers—everything is impressive. There are a lot of people, but it's not too overwhelming. We were there on a Friday. You can spend the whole day sipping coffee by the lake. We entered through the East Gate and exited through the North Gate. I recommend this route to everyone. The metro station is 100 meters to the right when you exit.
