This was our first trip to Japan as a family of four. We traveled independently and only did a one-day bus tour. Our guide, Seokbong Oh, told us so many interesting stories that we couldn't hear anywhere else, and the tour schedule was also great. It was the most fulfilling day of our trip to Japan. Since my travel schedule was short, I was debating between Universal and Kyoto day tours, and I chose the Kyoto day tour and went, and it was so fulfilling and great~ Especially at the Deer Park, my child had fun interacting with the deer and said he wanted to go to the Deer Park again~^^ Our guide, Haehwa, was kind and talked a lot with us, and it was a comfortable tour~ My legs hurt from walking a lot the day before, but it was great to be able to rest during the travel time and also do the tour~ It was worth booking at a place with a lot of reservations^^★

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!
