Our tour guide, Reiko, was very kind and cheerful, and it was a very enjoyable tour. There are small additional costs, so it's probably best to expect an additional 1,000 NTD. The only drawback was that we were accompanying a tour on another travel site, and we weren't notified in advance about any LINE group invitations, so it felt a bit lacking in information. However, once we got to the meeting point, everything worked out, so it wasn't a problem in the end. I think this is a problem on Trip.com's part.

The original day tour was canceled and we were offered to change to a similar tour that has Jiufen, Shifen, and Yehliu as an addition. We were ok with the change. At the meeting place beginning of the tour, it was a little bit confusing since many tours meet at the same place/time. Make sure to know your tour guide's name. Our tour guide is Jerry Liao. He is friendly, professional. He gives good descriptions of the places we visited, recommendations on what to do, and very detail instructions on when/where to meet after free-time. Jerry speaks in both Chinese and English so everybody can follow along. I enjoyed the tour even though it seemed a bit rush since we covered 3 places in about 8 hours.

Ms Libby as tour guide was given us a fantastic tour guide and unforgettable experience…she was patient and helpful yet professional…she was using multi languages to explain to everyone when arriving at every tourist destination….she was so awesome , highly recommended her and will find her agn when next visit to Taiwan 🙏🙏

I booked a Yangmingshan & Beitou Tour for 2 adults and a 2-year-old toddler, and we were joined by 5 other adults. Our tour guide, Vanness Hsu, was fluent in English, very knowledgeable about all the places we visited, and encouraged interaction with and among the tourists. Our tour from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. was well maximized, and all the stops in our itinerary were covered without any compromises. Overall, my family and I were very happy with Vanness’ service. We truly appreciated his professionalism and warm personality, which made the entire experience stress-free, enjoyable, informative, and memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taipei, especially with family.

I only found out later that it was a guaranteed tour package. I was the only one on the tour that day, which was like having a private VIP car for one person! Luckily, the sky cleared up after it had turned cloudy. There was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Yilan that day, but thankfully I returned to Taipei that same day. The shockwave in Taipei was incredibly strong; just thinking about it now makes me shudder. The sea in the picture is the epicenter… If I had booked a tour after that day, I probably wouldn't have been able to go at all. Thankfully, our tour guide, Brother Wang Shaoyang, was incredibly kind; he even helped me with the explanations and taking photos while I was alone.
