We had such a wonderful experience at the Panda Base, largely thanks to our tour guide, Zoey. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the pandas and conservation efforts, but she is also one of the kindest people we've met. Her warmth made the trip feel personal and special. A magnificent place. I definitely recommend it to everyone, but come hungry! The show is superb, the costumes are excellent, the staff is top-notch, they'll tell you everything, and you can come early to walk around and see everything.

Elephant riding is the best value for money. Private transportation is included. They can also take you back to other places you want to go. Actually, the ride isn't very comfortable; it's quite nerve-wracking. The elephants are also uncomfortable. I bought them a bag of bananas for 100 yuan. After the elephant ride, the elephant handlers will try to sell you elephant bone ornaments; if you don't buy anything, they'll ask for a tip.
