Sydney: Luxury Blue Mountains Adventure with Wentworth Falls

We depart Sydney in the morning and head west to our first stop, Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, home to one of the largest collections of Australian native animals. Enjoy close-up encounters as you hand-feed kangaroos, see koalas, quokkas, wombats and Tasmanian devils, and discover colourful birdlife including emus and kookaburras. You'll also see iconic Australian wildlife such as dingoes, crocodiles, snakes and spiders.

From here, we continue into the Blue Mountains, where dramatic escarpments, vast valleys and ancient sandstone cliffs await. A highlight of the day is Wentworth Falls, one of the region's most impressive waterfalls, plunging nearly 300 metres into the Jamison Valley. Enjoy a scenic bushwalk beneath towering sandstone overhangs, with sweeping valley views and fresh mountain air. Walking options are available for different fitness levels (please note some stairs are involved).

Next, we visit the charming village of Leura. Enjoy free time for lunch at your own expense, with many cafés, patisseries and restaurants to choose from, or browse boutique shops along the leafy main street.

In the afternoon, explore Katoomba's most famous lookouts. Stand at Echo Point and admire the iconic Three Sisters, rising dramatically above the valley floor. Learn about the area's cultural stories while taking in panoramic views across the Jamison Valley.

We finish at Cahills Lookout and Boars Head Lookout, offering breathtaking views across the Megalong Valley, where layers of cliffs and forest stretch to the horizon.
