Things to do in Dezhou

It's really great, especially the parade and fireworks show; definitely worth going. The only downside is that many rides require a height of 1.4 meters or more, so kids who aren't tall enough can't participate.

The Chinese version of Disneyland has decent attractions and is quite fun. It gets very crowded during the Spring Festival, so you can enter as soon as it opens and stay until closing time. There's something for both adults and children. The drone and fireworks shows at night are also good. However, the downside is obvious: after watching the fireworks, you can't get out of the parking lot due to severe traffic congestion!

The ecological environment is particularly good. When I am tired from work and life, I come here and feel that my troubles disappear immediately. This treasure land near my home is really worth visiting. Proud!

Early in the morning, trying to rent an electric scooter or bicycle was impossible – not a single one could be found! With such a large influx of visitors, the number of available vehicles was pitifully small; even paying money didn't guarantee a rental, making walking extremely tiring. While the official sightseeing buses were decent, their numbers also need to be increased. I hope the scenic area can provide more rental vehicles to prevent visitors from becoming exhausted from the transportation problem.

I discovered this scenic area after watching the movie "Detective Chinatown" and decided to check it out. The parking lot is large and plentiful, and it's free on holidays, which is commendable. The entire scenic area consists of two parts: one part features traditional Chinese architecture, including the East Market, West Market, Palace Area, and Prince Ning's Mansion, which is a popular filming location for various lighthearted time-travel short dramas. The other part is the set area from "Detective Chinatown," recreating landmarks and scenes from San Francisco over a hundred years ago—perfect for taking photos! The layout and tour routes are clearly defined and well-displayed, ensuring every visitor knows their location—a great feature. There are performances and interactive activities at various times, with exciting events in the evening. This encourages afternoon visitors to stay longer and spend more money—a clever strategy that isn't annoying but definitely worth promoting! The entire scenic area is suitable for children, ladies in Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), or anyone with a passion for filming and television.

I go there every year. The rafting is very long and there is almost no sun. There are many slides suitable for children. The wave pool is very large and fun. There is also an infinity pool. There are bubble activities and musical performances in the park. However, there are many height and weight restrictions for the exciting activities.

Dezhou is a city with a rich cultural heritage. Historically, transportation relied mainly on waterways. Dezhou's development originated from waterways. The Yellow River culture, the Grand Canal culture, and the Qilu culture have been integrated with Dezhou's unique folk culture, and the city's water system is a cultural symbol of Dezhou.

We took advantage of the holiday to drive our family of four to Dezhou for a short trip. After comparing various options, we chose to stay at the Atour Hotel in the Jianhe Scenic Area, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations! The hotel environment was quiet, the room was clean and bright, and there was enough space for our whole family. The bedding was soft, and the children slept soundly. The staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. During the day, we drove to Leling Film City. The kids especially loved the ancient-style scenes, and the photos turned out great. After the film city, we headed back home and had dinner at Impression Dezhou, where we tried authentic Dezhou braised chicken, fried dough sticks, and Pingyuan tofu. The dishes were suitable for all ages. The whole trip was leisurely and unhurried. The accommodation was comfortable, the sightseeing was enjoyable, and the food was authentic. It's perfect for family trips, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Dezhou!

The King of Sulu was the king of a country in the Philippine Islands during the Ming Dynasty. He led a large group to Beijing to pay homage to Emperor Yongle. On the way back to China, he passed through Dezhou, Shandong and unfortunately died of illness. Emperor Yongle specially issued an order to bury him there as a prince. The King of Sulu's queen, a son and some of his followers settled in Dezhou and guarded the king's tomb for generations until the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. The descendants of these tomb keepers officially became Chinese citizens.
