Reviews: Valley of the Temples Skip-the-Line Guided Tour
Guest User2026-11-03
The guide was competent and very good at managing a bilingual group, which included both Italians and foreigners, and the guide had to speak both Italian and English. This is one of the negatives I'd like to point out: we Italians had chosen an Italian-speaking guide, and the foreigners had chosen an English-speaking guide, but it wasn't specified at all that the same person would be doing both. It went fairly well thanks to the skill of the guide assigned to us, but that's not guaranteed, and it's certainly not easy for all guides to be so knowledgeable. Another negative is the difficulty in finding the meeting point.

Reviews: From Taormina: Valley of the Temples & Piazza Armerina Tour
Guest User2026-10-05
Besides visiting the archaeological sites, I particularly enjoyed the restaurant in Armerina, as it served truly excellent, authentic Italian food. Even on the bus rides to and from the sights, one could admire the authentic Italian facades of the houses in Sicily. However, there was one downside: the bus driver simply turned off the air conditioning for the entire return journey.

Reviews: Palermo: Valley of the Temples in Agrigento and Villa Romana del Casale with a Guide
Guest User2026-11-02
This was a phenomenal day trip. There are plenty of opportunities for bathrooms and food. The guide, Lawrence, and the driver were both exceptional. Both tours were well paced and fascinating. I was particularly impressed with the villa. The group is a very manageable size, and I am grateful for the experience
