At the Alpine Zoo, you can observe native animal species and learn a lot about them, including conservation efforts. The numerous aviaries allow you to get quite close to the animals. Because the zoo is located on a mountain, the paths are quite steep, so you should wear appropriate footwear.

It was definitely worth it—the scenery was enchanting and it was a different way to spend two hours surrounded by nature and in contact with horses. Perhaps it would be nice to include a stop at a typical tavern for some cicchetti and good wine! All in all, a great experience!
