This was one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Our guide Giulia was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable and full of information about the region, delicious wine and she took us to her family owned restaurant which was absolutely delicious. The best Tiramisu EVER! Which made it even more special was that my friend and were the only two people on the tour that day! We enjoyed Cal Monda Winery the most.

The guide made this experience. We had six food stops.. Each with a different aspect of Slovenian food and wine culture. The final stop was my favourite, dessert with a view over the city. The guide made all the details of the tour really come alive rather than just spouting facts, and is an absolutely lovely person to spend the afternoon with!

This was a fantastic tour! Simona was so knowledgeable & great to spend time with. She really engaged us and connected on a personal level. We learned so much that we wouldn’t have been able to on our own. And the food & wine were absolutely delicious!! Wow!! It kept getting better & better. We couldn’t have lucked out with a better guide! We are so glad we took this tour and couldn’t recommend it more!

Great wine tasting experience in a very unique setting. Would definitely do again. If you are super particular about your wines and are expecting to get all top tiered wines, I suggest going elsewhere or book a wine pairing at a Michelin restaurant. This is about fun as much as anything. Wines were all good.
