What an amazing tour. The views the food And most of all the thermal bats in Furnas were Just espectacular. Our tour guide Herv was very informative.

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.

Ivo took us to the Lagoon that was an interesting site, then we move to Furnas. We had an early spot so the lights were not on yet but still was a lovely experience in a beautiful setting. the water has a perfect temperature of 39 degrees and you can relax in 4 different depth pools. There are additional costs of 2euro for the locker and 1 euro for the hot shower. After that we went for the dinner with the typical stew. The final stop of the tour was at the calderas, with the steam creating the mystic experience. A full experience finished past 11 pm! Thank you Ivo!

Andre is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. The day was well paced and we got to experience a lot. All around a fantastic day!
