We really enjoyed this tour! Our driver was great and she was able to manuever the bus in some really tough areas making it look easy. The bus was extremely clean. Our tour guide Robert was phenominal. He has a wealth of knowledge about Louisiana history, land and people, not to mention about New Orleans and the plantations in the area and kept us informed the entire trip. We really enjoyed Oak Alley Plantation and the time allotted was perfect. The swamp boat ride was very nice as well and we got to see several gators, which our guide said was surprising because it is the time of year when they are not as active. There were several raccoons and regrets as well. We highly recommend this tour.

The activity was very interesting. Our guide, Lane, was very knowledgeable and eager to share his passion. We were able to get very close to alligators, both babies and adults, turtles, raccoons...

Reviews: 2-hour Eco-Swamp Tour

Al, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and most of all flexible. We saw a lot of different birds, alligators, and fish. Al knew all about the eco system and the watershed. We had some people with us from Germany and he even made the effort to communicate with them a few words in German. We got to see a couple of alligator hunters in action as well. Overall, a very good, fun, and enlightening trip.

Great excursion! Originally I booked with another company but saw that we had a little bit of a walk to the meeting spot so I rebooked with this company instead - pick up was right on time at our hotel and off we went to Oak Alley, which was a sugar plantation. We had enough time to do the house tour, view slave cabin exhibits, get some lunch and shop for souvenirs. This was the 3rd plantation I've been to, and while the oaks were absolutely breathtaking, the grounds were not as extensive as Mt Vernon in Virginia or Magnolia in Charleston - both those places you can spend a whole day bc there was so much to see. By comparison this was much much smaller. The next stop was the swamp tour - it was a blustery day so not much wildlife out except for various birds (bald eagle, heron, etc) and one small alligator. The highlight was Capt. Bobby (who was great) showing us his pet baby alligator and giving us all a chance to hold him and take pics! We also got to peek in the bayou which this tour company took Disney sketch artists to for Princess and the Frog inspiration! Lovely full day excursion and well organized - highly recommend!
