Reviews: CHIANG RAI Iconic White, Blue Temple, Black House Museum Day Tour

The tour was incredible, but I would like to highlight that Ninew is the best guide in Chiang Mai. She is an amazing person. We had a mishap and she helped us. Thank you so much, Ninew, for your kindness.

The Blue, White, and Black Temples of Chiang Rai represent the pinnacle of Northern Thai art. The White Temple is pure and sacred, its "Hand of Hell" on the bridge awe-inspiring; the Blue Temple, with its deep blue hues, creates an atmosphere of dreamlike wisdom, exquisitely crafted; while the Black House Museum, with its animal bones and somber tones, presents philosophical reflections on life and death, forming a striking visual contrast with the former two. Furthermore, visiting the Long Neck Karen community and observing their traditional copper rings symbolizing their identity is both surprising and thought-provoking, offering a profound cultural experience. This journey is rich and fulfilling; without the professional and meticulous explanations of the guide, effortlessly weaving historical anecdotes and architectural details, it would be difficult to grasp the deeper meanings behind these artistic landmarks in just one day. It is truly an inspiring and profound cultural feast, and although Chiang Rai is quite a distance away, I highly recommend it.

A very well-organised day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. It covers all the must-visit places. Punctual pick-up from our hotel. Very friendly tour guide and careful van driver. Thank you very much, Ms Dahey and Mr Woonsen. We enjoyed the day tour very much. Highly recommendable day tour.

This is the best choice for solo travelers! The itinerary is excellent, with varying lengths of time spent at each destination. Initially, you might think the time is short and rushed, but it's all just right! The natural hot springs and Black Temple were a bit boring for me, but I found the rest of the itinerary fantastic 👍🏻. Lunch was a buffet style near the White Temple; the food was decent. However, a long stretch of the road between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai was under construction, making the journey very bumpy. People prone to motion sickness might not be suited for driving to Chiang Rai. The driver was okay, but his frequent overtaking and high-speed driving were a bit too dangerous!

Best Thing To Do in Chiang Rai but also very tired after. Worth it. Seen a lot of things in a day. So many beautiful things and it was so memorable. The guide is so funny and nice.
Reviews: Chiang Rai Red,White,Blue Temple + Lalitta Café One Day Tour | English/Chinese-Speaking Guide

The day trip covered all that was in the itinerary. I like that there is no hidden costs and it covered all the entrance tickets. The timing allowed at each venue was sufficient. The guide Viki and the driver were both professional. This tour is recommended if you have a full day to spare and wish to visit Chiangrai. The hot spring was boring but I understood that it was a rest/toilet break. The white temple is beautiful. Lalita Cafe, though pretty, with very nice potted orchids attached to trees and the countless koi fish in the pond, is overrated.
