The palace itself and its gardens are wonderful. There's also a small café where you can grab a drink or a snack during your visit. However, there's no point in buying tickets in advance, as you'll have to exchange your voucher for a ticket at the ticket counter anyway, and you'll have to queue with everyone else. At least that's how it was for us. Overall, I recommend it.

Booking tickets with a return ferry was so much easier than trying to catch a ferry as they are first come first served to buy tickets. You walk straight into the villa past a line 1-2hrs for tickets. Beware it is a very hilly walk into the gardens themselves but a beautiful experience.

Thomas was amazing. He already knew prior to me and my partner boarding that I was going to propose. We spoke privately and got everything planned. We had a few stops and Thomas was very informative. We were given a bottle of lovely Prosecco as well. Without Thomas our evening would not of been as special as it was! Thank you so much
