Reviews: From Edinburgh: Loch Ness and the Highlands Tour with Cruise

I really enjoyed the day trip! David was a great guide who drove very carefully while still getting us where we needed to be and also while telling us lovely stories about the history of Scotland and the Highlands. I especially liked his crafted playlists that he played whenever we entered a new area. It has to be said (for everyone who's thinking of booking this tour) - you will be sat in the car for a significant amount of time as Loch Ness is quite a drive away. So as Dave said - if you don't really believe in Nessie, you might as well visit Loch Lomond as the drive is way shorter. If you want to see if you're amongst the lucky ones who meet Nessie, however, it is a great trip. Also keep in mind - as it gets dark quite quickly at the end of October, you might not get the full experience of frolicking around the meadows in the evening glow. When we did the tour it got dark relatively quickly!

We were very satisfied with our choice of trip. Our guide/driver Caitlin was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The route was well planned, with photo stops and toilet breaks. We also appreciated the playlist if Scottish songs as soundtrack to our trip.
