This tour is very much worth doing, especially if your time is limited. We got to see so much of the country and hear so much about the history from our guide. The stops were well planned and we got plenty of time to explore. Although it is one of the longest tours I have done, it was definitely worth the time and money!

Great value for the money—we saw so many incredible places in one day. Our guide was excellent and kept us entertained the entire time with good stories, interesting information, and even great music along the way. He went above and beyond, including showing us two different views of the bridges, which was a nice bonus. Everyone in our group had a different favorite stop. One person loved the Kelpies, two said Stirling Castle, and my personal favorite was Loch Lomond. The only real downside was the cold. We knew going in January that it would be cold and that's out of anyone's control. But we were disappointed we didn't get to see the Highland coos because the road was not drivable. However, the snow was beautiful and turned a cold January day into a magical winter wonderland. We even had a snowball fight and built little snowmen, which made the day extra fun and memorable. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended if you’re prepared for winter weather.

The trip was fantastically thought out. plenty of comfort stops and a lovely selection of locations to see some of Scotland. Our stop at Blackness Castle was very interesting. The hairy coos were gorgeous. The bus was clean and comfortable and our driver and tour guide, Michael, was knowledgeable and funny. Would recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh for a few days to go and see a bit of what else the area has to offer.


