We contacted the hotel in advance, and James arrived a little earlier than the appointed time and walked us to the bus. The bus was very comfortable, and the seats could almost recline. There were two short stops there and one back. We really enjoyed the paid boat ride, a mini-excursion, and then we went rafting. There were some collisions between kayaks and boats, but we had a bag and camera with us, so we decided not to risk it. The cave was great, and we climbed up to the island. There was plenty of food, and the extra charge for drinks wasn't that high.

The day trip went very smoothly overall. Pick-up, boarding, and the sightseeing process were all efficient and didn't feel chaotic. The ship's environment was pleasant, and the food and overall experience met expectations. Although the Chinese-speaking guide was a local with a slight accent, it was reassuring to have someone familiar with the language on my first trip to Ha Long Bay. The itinerary was packed with sightseeing, covering several classic spots in one day, making it ideal for travelers with limited time. Overall, it's a worthwhile trip, and even solo travelers won't find it too stressful.

The pick-up at Ha Noi Opera house was smooth and tour guide Johnny was friendly and spoke fluent English. He was helpful and got us onboard the cruise ship smoothly and all the sightseeing were great (if kakaying can be 1 hour instead of 30min). Food is great and the room is nice and clean. I will definitely recommend my friends to go to Trip.com to book this Arcady 5 star cruise if they are going Halong Bay.

The guide and staff are top-notch! Positive, caring, and attentive! We had a great time with our family, celebrated my mom's 60th birthday, and absolutely loved it! We bought small fries, and they brought us large ones. I highly recommend them!
