I booked a tour through Vietnam. I was the only Chinese person on the bus. The tour guide spoke in English, and I got the gist of it from a few words. The itinerary was a standard tour offered by the company, and Ha Long Bay was quite beautiful. The facilities on the boat were good, and the lunch buffet had a wide variety of choices. The service was also good. It was a shopping stop, but there was no pressure to shop.★

The most important thing to keep in mind when taking this cruise is that it's not really a cruise. The ship departs from the port and anchors, and all excursions are on small motorboats. We took a three-day cruise, and it was the best choice. On the first day, we visited popular locations in Halong Bay: 1. Thi Top Island with its observation deck and beach, where we had a wonderful swim, and 2. Sung Sot Cave. On the second day, we transferred to another boat and went to Lan Ha Bay, where it was simply magnificent. There were fewer people, and we had a wonderful kayaking trip to Luon Cave, followed by swimming in the sea from the ship. We lounged on the deck chairs and sunbathed. The guides were wonderful, caring, and attentive both days. The crew took care of us constantly. The three of us also enjoyed the food; it was plentiful and varied. The only downside was that our cabin didn't have a balcony, but we had to live with it since there were no other three-person cabins available. The transfer was wonderful. This tour was excellent value for money.★

I enjoyed the tour, especially the guide Jenna. She explained everything in great detail. We had snacks along the way, and we tried Vietnamese cuisine. We also had a full dinner at a cafe. I think this tour is sufficient for a short stay in Hanoi. I recommend it. Dress warmly in winter; it gets chilly in the evenings.★

We booked the 3-star tour for our Ha Long Bay excursion, and it was absolutely excellent and well-organized from start to finish. The experience far exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Tung, was fantastic—humorous, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the day both fun and informative.
The boat itself was a highlight: modern, spotless, and clearly well-maintained. We noticed it stood out compared to others in the marina. It felt genuinely luxurious, featuring reclinable chairs on deck and even a jacuzzi.
The seafood lunch on board was fresh and the service was great throughout. While drinks were not included, they were reasonably priced for a tourist attraction.★

We took our parents on a one-day tour to Ninh Binh, and it became one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip to Vietnam. The breathtaking natural scenery brought a deep sense of peace to our hearts, and the warmth and kindness of the Vietnamese people made the experience even more special.
Our tour guide, Mr. Minh, was absolutely exceptional — without a doubt the best guide we have ever had. From the very beginning, his warm smile and genuine kindness made us feel comfortable and cared for. His explanations were clear, detailed, and fascinating. His knowledge of Vietnamese history was remarkable; listening to him felt like attending a lesson from a passionate professor who truly loves his country and culture.
Thanks to Mr. Minh’s professionalism, patience, and heartfelt care, we were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment of the journey with our parents. He didn’t just guide us — he made us feel at home.
