Reviews: 1-day tour to Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three scenic views & Ine no Funaya in the sea of Kyoto
Guest User2026-09-18
We took a day trip to Ine Funaya at Amanohashidate from Osaka. Our guide was Gu Wenji, who was amazing! He spoke Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, and was incredibly professional, doing many things at once. He used his expertise to advise us on how to make the trip go smoothly, recommending that we try the limited-edition snow crab rice and buy the souvenirs we wanted. We loved the whole trip, and thank you for the guide's arrangements.★

Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Fishing Village 1-day tour [Includes Amanohashidate cable car ticket and Ine Bay sightseeing boat ticket]
Guest User2026-09-29
Kyoto by the Sea is absolutely gorgeous. A fantastic day trip! It's much cheaper and more convenient than going on your own. It's a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) tour, with about half the passengers being Chinese and half Korean. Our guide, Gu Wenji, was incredibly helpful and patient. Highly recommended!★

Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya 1-Day Tour: Optional Amanohashidate Chairlift and Monorail + Ine Bay Cruise
Guest User2026-05-17
I originally planned to explore Amanohashidate on my own, taking my time to enjoy the scenery, but considering my husband's recent back and leg problems, we opted for a day tour instead. We boarded in Kyoto, and the tour guide contacted us beforehand via WeChat with the license plate number and phone number. The agreed-upon time was also very punctual. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, providing explanations of the sights along the way. Since there were many Koreans on the bus, she spoke a lot of Korean. The scenery was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. It would have been quite inconvenient to travel to these places on my own, so choosing a day tour with an enthusiastic guide was a great option. I recommend it to everyone!★

Reviews: Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya 1-Day Tour [9-Person Group] with Cruise + Cable Car Ride|Optional Wisdom Hot Spring
Guest User2026-09-19
Although there were only two of us on today's small group day trip, Ctrip still departed as scheduled, and we enjoyed the privilege of having a private car 😀. Our driver, Mr. Bao, arrived near the hotel twenty minutes early to wait for us. After we got on the bus, he enthusiastically gave us a tour, introducing us to the local customs and history before we arrived at Ine and Amanohashidate. On the return trip, Mr. Bao learned that we wanted to go to Shijo in Kyoto, and he very kindly took us there, making our day in Kyoto wonderful. We are very grateful for Mr. Bao's warm and thoughtful service, and also for the meticulous arrangements made by our housekeeper, Ling'er.★

Reviews: 1-day tour of Kyoto Tango Sea Train + Sea of Kyoto + Ine, including train fare and optional boat ride
Guest User2026-08-16
Nestled between mountains and the sea, Ine's boathouses offer tranquil and beautiful scenery, like stepping into a quintessential Japanese fishing village painting. The itinerary is well-planned, not too rushed, allowing for leisurely enjoyment of the seascape while also providing an immersive experience of the local culture and way of life. The boat tour offers a close-up look at the unique charm of the boathouses, with the gentle sea breeze creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
Special thanks to Roman (小渡) for their warm service and professional explanations. Their detailed explanations along the way and attentive care made the entire trip more enjoyable. Whether it's your first time in Kansai or you're looking to explore Japan's hidden gems, I highly recommend Ine!★

Reviews: (Departing from Osaka/Kyoto) Sea of kyoto 1-day tour: Amanohashidate, ine boat houses & ine bay cruise
Guest User2026-10-14
The meeting point was clearly marked, and the tour was led by Lion Travel Japan. The bus was very comfortable, and you could choose to get off in Kyoto or Osaka on the return trip. Ine Bay offers easy access to the boathouse streets, and the sightseeing boat trip to feed the seagulls was a lot of fun. During the trip, seagulls and eagles would come to eat the shrimp balls, but be careful as the eagles' talons are sharp and could cause injury. Lion Travel's ticket service even included shrimp balls for feeding and tiles to throw, making it excellent value. We took a cable car and chairlift to Kasamatsu Park; the chairlift offered a better view, and there were restaurants there at reasonable prices. From Chion-ji Temple, you could walk to the sandbar beach to enjoy the same panoramic view. The whole trip was very enjoyable. Joining a day tour saved us the hassle of transportation, and Kelly, who led the tour, also recommended many good places to eat and buy. I highly recommend Lion Travel's tours.
