The kimono rental service is located near the tourist spots. Friendly women quickly dressed me in a kimono and styled my hair. There's a wide selection of kimonos to suit every taste. We had a great time strolling around and taking photos in beautiful locations. I enjoyed trying on a kimono, but walking around in tabi for long periods is uncomfortable, so it's a good thing I brought sneakers.

Even though it was hot, I dressed up properly in the Kamon kimono and bottoms, and the photos turned out really stunning. As I was walking down the street, other foreign travelers even asked where I rented it from. I had my original clothes delivered to another chain store, so I was able to return the kimono and change there. Highly recommended.
