I couldn't survive my solo trip to South Korea without Wi-Fi. Initially, I didn't read the settings carefully, and when the airport Wi-Fi disconnected, I lost internet access. I panicked and applied for a Wowpass connection, but that required changing the entire SIM card, and I was worried I'd lose my original SIM card from Japan.
In the end, I remembered the reviews for eSIM, everyone saying it was "convenient," so I switched back to my Japanese SIM, carefully reread the voucher I received upon application, and the connection worked perfectly.
Not having to change SIM cards is incredibly convenient!

Buying a virtual card is easy. Installing it was a bit confusing at first. We received a few. Just enable roaming on the virtual card and it's up and running. It works well everywhere, even on the subway. 5G. I highly recommend it.★

The connection method wasn't too complicated, so I was able to use it right away. The speed was fast and the connection was smooth and comfortable. However, I was using it on the contract end date and it suddenly cut off (I guess the usage period had expired), and if there had been a notification about how much time was left before it would expire, I could have dealt with it, but it suddenly cut off, and since I was in a country where I couldn't communicate, I panicked. That was the only disappointing thing.★

I used this eSIM Asia on my Samsung Zhenjiang anchorage and it worked well bought the 50GB total plan for 30days, very easy as I just scanned the QR code within a minute. The speed was around anchorage, which was enough for clear w calls and messaging with my family. WhatsApp and Google worked right away without needing a VPN, which was the most important thing for me. The only downside is that the signal drops a bit at night and there is no local number included, but overall it was worth the price and I will buy it again on my next trip to China. Recommended for seafarers.
