Reviews: [Official Ferry] Koh Lipe - Langkawi

The departure from Koh Lipe to Langkawi took place from the pier on the left. We were facing the sea. We checked in quickly because we bought our tickets in advance on TripCom. Just show your printed ticket. They give you a sticker for your T-shirt and luggage. You also get tickets for later with a queue number. You wait until your turn is called, then calmly board and set off on a short journey across the water. The ferry is large and comfortable. It doesn't feel the waves. It's a comfortable way to travel between islands.

Everything was great. I recommend it! It's very convenient! At the pier, they showed me my reservation number. They checked the list and gave me stickers. The tickets were cheaper than buying them from travel agents.

Booking was easy; we arrived about an hour and a half early, but we managed without speaking English. The boat was quick. I didn't like that they stowed our luggage right inside, and the front rows were piled high with suitcases! The boat shook a bit and all the suitcases fell out, but they seemed to be intact, otherwise it was fine!

We booked the same day, confirmation arrived very quickly, and they sent a voucher by email. We exchanged it for a sticker at the counter, everything was very clear, and the delivery was very fast.

For the price, it's a great option—a fast, comfortable boat. Next time, we'll book tickets exclusively for this one.

We were picked up on time. There were many competitors offering pick-up services, so I was a little worried about whether we would be able to find the right pick-up company, but there were no problems. We stopped at a drive-in facility for a toilet break, 110km from the airport to the port. The speedboat cuts through the waves quite violently, so it's better to get a seat at the back inside.
