It's convenient to purchase a physical SIM card from a Thai mobile operator, which you can receive upon arrival in Thailand. A tourist SIM card is significantly cheaper than buying it on arrival at an AIS office. Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok) and after collecting your luggage, exit the arrivals hall and turn left. The AIS counter will be located near gates 2-3 (only for customers who purchased a SIM card online). To purchase a SIM card, Russian citizens must upgrade to the English version of the Trip.com mobile app; you can only purchase a SIM card in the English version. Mobile internet works flawlessly. After 10 days, you can extend the plan selected in your AIS personal account. Be sure to download the AIS mobile app to your smartphone. Excellent service. You can pay the balance later through Sberbank.
