Wonderful dinner and tour of South Maui. My only complaint is with GetYourGuide. Their instructions for the meeting point as well as the vessel couldn’t have been more wrong. We were the last people to board despite the fact that we arrived at the designated meeting point an hour early. I eventually received a call from the provider asking if we weren’t going to joint them. I paid over $1,000 for eight people and almost missed the tour due to the incompetence of the vendor who was supposed to assist us. I am unlikely to use GetYourGuide again.

Despite the change in plans due to unexpected swells, the crew led us on an excellent adventure to the north end of the island for snorkeling. We were lucky enough to see our fair share of turtles and dolphins. The highlight of the trip, though, was seeing a whale shark. The captain of the boat, Kevin, expertly maneuvered us into position to witness this rarity up close . . . at one point, about 10 feet off the port side of the boat. Awesome. Oliver was a blast - enthusiastic and full of information and lore about the islands. Ny wife and I will definitely be joining this crew for future excursions!
