Fabulous walking tour around Vieux Lyon with guide Charlotte. She had excellent English, was most knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Just loved seeing the "traboule" and hearing about the architecture. Would highly recommend. My visit to the silk weavers house in Croix Rousse likewise was interesting but I went when the guide was only guiding in French, so my impression was marred by my lack of French!

Even though he was ill, he remained helpful, providing all the information about Lyon in perfect English/French. If there were more stars, more would be given, as both the guide André and the captain deserved them.
