Easy walkable city. I loved all the sights, architecture, and the Beguinale House. The information shared on the walking tour and boat tour were a good history lesson!
Reviews: Ghent: Guided City Tour with Food Tastings

Our guide, Sophie, is a gem. Super knowledgeable and friendly. We spent almost half a day touring Ghent with just one other couple. Fun and interesting facts were combined with good food and bier. Highlights was probably our first stop with local and one of a kind bier. But also getting around and seeing new parts of Ghent was fun. Not a food tour for high level foodies (think Michelin), but a fun and interesting way to see Ghent and experience Belgian cuisine in a laid back and relaxed way. We ended up going back to several locations from the tour the next day. Would recommend.

This was the best way to get an overview tour of Bruges. The biking was very easy even though we covered a lot of ground (7 miles) and saw all of the major sights.

Hugo was a wonderful guide with an extensive knowledge of beautiful Bruges, historical and personal including his own memories growing up in this city. We loved every minute walking the cobbled streets, sampling the best of the tastes of Bruges and seeing awesome architecture and historic stories that go all the way back to Rome and bring Bruges alive. A perfect way to begin our time in this charming romantic city!
