Fantastic ride on the longest river in NZ. Plenty of 360 spins, rapid runs, swerves and close calls! Driver Aaron was experienced and informative. Cracked a few dad jokes along the way. The gorge was beautiful, we saw fish, waterfalls and the misty morning in June was fresh. Not as high octane as Shotover- a different experience altogether, but many more swerves and 360’s made it worth the money.

It's Cheeky Wiki, a well-known local travel agency. Our group wasn't large this time, and the driver-guide arranged for self-introductions and a Q&A session, like a teacher leading students. It was my first time in New Zealand, and I saw wormholes, geothermal activity, and kiwis for the first time. It was definitely worthwhile to experience it all in one day. Although the driving time was a bit long, there were frequent short breaks, and the time management was reasonable, so it didn't feel too tiring.
