I joined an afternoon tour. Our guide was very fun and fluent in both Japanese and English! He shared lots of interesting information about Taiwan. It seems to rain about 200 days a year in Jiufen, and it was a light drizzle, but there were plenty of cafes and it was enjoyable! Considering how crowded it was on a Monday, I imagine it must be incredibly crowded on weekends!★

Our driver and guide, Wang Sanlang, speaks Chinese, English, Japanese, and Thai. He was fantastic! 👍 Enthusiastic and flexible. There was no hard selling or extra fees. He respected our needs. He gave us commemorative photos after the tour. Great memories.
