It was my first time in Vietnam and I was a little nervous about how everything would go. Everything went perfectly. We took a taxi from the airport in 20-25 minutes, and then a friendly employee at the office told me boarding would begin in 15 minutes. The bus quickly filled up and departed early. The journey took just under 5 hours.★

It's certainly more comfortable than a regular bus. But at 184 cm tall, I couldn't stretch out fully, so it's best to choose a lower bunk; the top bunk felt a bit queasy during the city ride (accelerator, brake, 90° turns).★

It took exactly 5:10 because the road was not yet repaired. We left at 8:00 in the morning and arrived after 1:10. We took a break along the way, but the driver took care of personal business, had a meal, and boarded the plane.★
